Activity 2 comes from The Scouts Great Indoors, follow the instructions on the link and submit evidence through here or OSM

Activity 3

Learn how to take your pulse, using two fingers either on your wrist or neck. Get someone to help you if need be. Once you've found it get someone to time 30 seconds. Count the heartbeats you feel for those 30 seconds after you've been sitting down for a while. Times this number by 2. This is your resting heart rate in bpm.

Do some excersize (maybe Joe Wicks PE or a game of football). half way through measure your heart rate again. Is the number different to before?

After you've finished take your heart rate again. Is this number different to before?

Have a rest for 5 minutes and take your heart rate one more time. Is the number different again.

What does this all mean?

Alex Matthews Compare your heart rates to other peoples. Mine are below:
Resting: 64
During excersize: 103

After: 94
5 minutes later: 88

Activity 4

Instructions on the link below:

Activity 5

Plant some seeds in soil. Document how it grows.

If possible, plant 3 in 3 different pots. What happens if two of them don't get either water or sunlight?

Activity 6

Gather the following and put each one in a cup/vessel:

Bicarbonate of Soda

a dirty coin

water

egg shell

Add a few tablespoons of vinegar to each one, one at a time, writing down what you see.

Wait 10 minutes and revisit the samples- has anything changed? Write down what you see

Do you know anything about vinegar that might be causing these things?
