59th Sheffield (St Augustine's) Scout Group is in the Sheffield Hallam District of South Yorkshire Scouts.

Our HQ is on Botanical Road, Hunters Bar, Sheffield, S11 8RP.

• Beavers meet Wednesdays from 5.30pm

• Cubs meet Wednesdays from 6.45pm

• Scouts meet Mondays from 7.30pm and Thursday from 7.15pm (2 troops running a parallel programme). All special evants and camps are run  jointly

Subs are £45 per term spring and summer and autumn term is £50 – £140 per year. This covers membership of the Scout Association, insurance, all weekly meeting expenses and badges. You buy the uniform and we may very occasionally charge a small fee towards a more expensive weekly meeting (eg climbing) if we have already spent a lot during the term. Camps are charged at around £50 for a weekend camp.

We are currently running at capacity across most sections (21 Beavers, 30 Cubs and 2 x 30 Scouts). We operate a waiting list on a first come first served basis (see Joining). It is always worth putting your child's name down; all we ask is that you let us know if you take up a place at another Group. Priority is given to those with siblings already  in the Group and if there's a choice between 2 children close in age and who joined the waiting list at the same time, the one whose parent has expressed a willingness to help out at meetings will get first refusal.
