Executive Committee

The Group Executive Committee is responsible for the running of the Scout Group and the premises and – as Trustees –makes sure the Group meets its obligations as a registered charity both financially and legally.

We are always looking for new additions to the committee, particularly to advise on future projects to improve the building and land below the building.

The Chair works closely with the Group Scout Leader and other members of the Exec, making sure that action points agreed at meetings are carried out.

We'd also like parent representatives on the committee. We've got money in the bank and grants to secure to spend on improvements to our HQ and equipment renewal but we can't do this on our own. Please get in touch if you think you could spare some time to help out, in any capacity.
